Honeymoon in Vegas (1992) – James Caan, Nicolas Cage, Sarah Jessica Parker. Comedy. A very funny movie with lots of comedic twists and turns—you'll love the Flying Elvises! Nominated for 2 Golden Globes. Definitely one of the better honeymoon movies to be found.

Once Upon a Honeymoon (1942) – Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers. Drama/Romance. Grant is a radio correspondent in 1938 Europe, when he meets and falls in love with Rogers—who is married to an Austrian Baron (who, unknown to her, is a Nazi spy). Grant tries to expose the Baron. Forties fun, and these two superstars from the past are something to watch.

What Happens in Vegas... (2008) – Ashton Kucher, Cameron Diaz. Comedy. Two strangers vacationing in Vegas get drunk and wake up married—and totally disliking each other. A judge refuses a quickie annulment, ruling that they live together for 6 months before splitting the huge jackpot they won the night before (which precipitated their big drunk to begin with)...and the plot, such as it is, thickens. As one reviewer put it, "...the filmmakers assume everyone in the audience has both attention deficit disorder and dementia."

Honeymoon Horror (1982) – Paul Iwanski, Cheryl Black. Horror. A horror movie in which someone is rapidly killing off honeymooners at the Honeymoon Island Lodge. One reviewer describes the “ridiculous plot and atrocious acting” as “vomit inducing and wonderfully obnoxious.”

Haunted Honeymoon (1986) - Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, Dom Deluise—a genius of a comedy trio! Comedy-Thriller. Wilder & Radner are caught in his aunt's big, spooky house out in the country with lots of wacky/scary people—and a werewolf on the loose. Wilder also directed.

Dark Honeymoon: (2007) - Roy Scheider, Daryl Hannah, Eric Roberts. Thriller. A man marries an enchanting woman after a quick courtship. He soon earns that he should have given the romance more time to develop when, on their honeymoon, people around them start dying horribly and violently. Tensions increases with the body count & he soon learns that you never really know someone...until you marry them. The high-profile cast didn't prevent horrible and violent reviews. Apparently, this flick is a real stinker.

Honeymoon Academy (1990) - Kim Cattrall, Doris Roberts, Leigh Taylor-Young, Robert Hays. Comedy. A couple on their honeymoon becomes involved in the recovery of plates intended to counterfeit U. S. dollars. Klutzy thieves are after the same plates, and a lot of entanglements ensue. Mildly amusing. Fun to see Catrall before Sex & The City made her rich and famous.

The Honeymoon Killers (1970). Tony Lo Bianco, Shirley Stoler. Thriller. When a womanizing con man and a no-nonsense nurse fall in love, they travel across the country as brother and sister. Their goal: to swindle and kill, in increasingly bloody fashion, the lonely women he marries. Based on the 1940s real-life "Lonely Hearts Murders," the black-and-white film has a gritty reality and deserves a wider audience. French Director Francois Truffaut called it his favorite American film.

Zombie Honeymoon (2005) - Graham Sibley, Tracy Coogan. Horror. A sea monster kills the bridegroom, but he returns from the grave as a flesh-eating zombie. Not sure why, but this movie has become something of a cult classic, and won a Chainsaw Award in 2006 for best low-budget film.

Just Married (2003) - Ashton Kutcher, Brittany Murphy. Comedy/Romance. A young couple, madly in love, marries against the advice of her friends and family. On their European honeymoon disasters and mix-ups occur and re-occur, ad infinitum. Recycled humor, so-so acting—but, hey! There's something nice about it anyway.
