Part of the allure of getting married here is that it offers the ultimate freedom of choice, ranging from Elvis presiding over a 24-hour, drive-through chapel ta lavish soiree at a high-end resort. And, with minimal requirements and nwaiting period, "quickie" weddings are an attractive possibility. Here’s the scoop:

 Requirement Highlights

 
  • Proof of age (driver's license, passport, military ID, birth certificate).

  • Social Security Numbers are required on the Affidavit of Application for a Marrige License.

  • Non-U. S. citizens may need additional or special documentation to guarantee that their marriage will be recognized in their home country.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Minor applicants (16 or 17) must have consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • No blood test is required.

  • No waiting period is required.
